I kept seeing this thing on my FYP between chaotic cat videos and those weirdly satisfying cooking fails where someone tries to make a soufflé and ends up with a pancake. It was everywhere. People were swiping this stick across their faces like they were applying a giant glue stick, and somehow, their pores were just… vanishing?

My Expectations vs. Reality
My expectations were sky-high. I’m talking “glass skin in ten minutes” levels of optimism. The marketing claims that it uses rice puree and charcoal to deep-clean pores without the usual clay mask “I can’t move my face” feeling. I was honestly hoping for a miracle. I expected to swipe it on, feel a light tingle, rinse it off, and wake up looking like I’d just had a three-hour facial at a spa I can’t actually afford.
The reality? Well, it’s a mask. It’s not a magic wand. If you think you’re going to erase a decade of bad skincare choices in one sitting, you’re going to be disappointed. But let’s look at the actual experience.
The Actual Test
Applying it was undeniably satisfying. The stick format is a total win. No more digging your fingers into a jar of clay and getting it under your fingernails for three days. It glides on like a deodorant stick for your face, which is, frankly, the kind of main character energy I deserve on a Tuesday night.
Here is where I have to be real: The internet lied about the “no mess” aspect. Okay, the stick itself is clean, but wiping the stuff off? That took some work.
